Missola Marcio is a Brazilian digital artist and filmmaker, with a background in music, motion graphics, and games. He spent 19 RecordTV as an Art Director. He also partnered with Doubleleft Interactive and Games developing digital experiences for brands like Anheuser-Busch InBev/Skol beer, and as an independent filmmaker promoting Brazilian urban culture along with MTV Brazil/Viacom and Globo TV where he still serves as culture and trend advisor. Marcio was also nominated for MTV Best Music Video VMB/VMA Brazil Music Award and speaker at Intel Creators Project. His work has been featured in Rolling Stone Brazil and VICE Brazil. In 2015, Marcio moved to the US. For the last 5 years, Marcio worked as a Visual Effects and Motion Graphics Artist at Davis Elen Advertising, a Los Angeles independent advertising agency. His role as post-producer included directing, supervising, and finishing several spots for TV, Social Media, and Outdoor displays for brands like McDonald's, Toyota, GreatCall/BestBuy, and HBO. Marcio loves his family, photography, cinema, cars (He loves F1), crypto art (NFT), technology, the future, reading (The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, George Orwell 1984 and Guide to Earth and Space by Issac Asimov), and writing (He wrote an article about decentralized content at Medium in 2017). He has just finished writing his first feature film ‘The Particle’, . Marcio and his family have been learning about American culture through cuisine and are very excited to learn about southern cooking.
