about the video “Vira a Cara”

In addition to naming the EP, “Vira A Cara” is his first single. His clip was directed by Leandro HBL – the Brazilian director who joined the mega producer Diplo to make “Favela On Blast”, the definitive documentary about Rio’s funk and also the video “Levanta e anda” by Emicida, winner of the MVF 2015 “Vira a Cara ”was recorded in the famous“ Vila Mimosa ”using real people at the expense of models and tells the story of a funk party on the street around a skewer stand. It is the second part of a clip trilogy where the first film is HVY BL NSS PRR. The film flirt with funk dance concepts and colors and also evoke Oswald de Andrade as a Brazilian neo-anthropophagist visual manifesto.
